In DARK PHOENIX, the X-MEN face their most impressive and ground-breaking enemy: one of their own, Jean Gray. During a salvage mission in space, Jean is about slaughtered when she is hit by a baffling astronomical power. When she returns home, this power makes her endlessly progressively ground-breaking, yet unmistakably increasingly unsteady. Grappling with this element inside her, Jean releases her forces in manners she can neither fathom nor contain. With Jean spiraling wild, and harming the ones she cherishes most, she starts to disentangle the very texture that holds the X-Men together. Presently, with this family self-destructing, they should figure out how to join together - not exclusively to spare Jean's spirit, yet to spare our very planet from outsiders who wish to weaponize this power and principle the system.
